Palmer and Kunkel are Conservatives with a good bit of experience in different fields. Palmer has a background as President of Alesis Studio Equipment and also President/CEO of Event Studio Electronics. Prior to that marketed and promoted many of the Very Popular Records, that we hear all the time, back in the ’70s. Acts such as the Doobies Brothers, Alice Cooper, Seals & Crofts, Jethro Tull, War, Gordon Lightfoot, Deep Purple, Todd Rundren, Patti Labelle, and many more.

Palmer grew up in the Los Angeles area and was affected by the liberal bias of the entertainment industry. But, with success in subsequent businesses he found that his idealism was dashed by reality and morphed into a Small L libertarian and eventually, realizing that libertarians don’t win political races, he was forced to become a Republican in order to combat the social damage of the Big L Liberals of our country.

Kunkel was a consultant and business owner in the environmental engineering field.  Prior to retirement he was a principal hydrogeologist and primarily performed site characterization and remediation at commercial and industrial sites that were impacted by hazardous waste. He also performed clean water work including the development, installation, and testing of a significant groundwater supply for a large fish hatchery and salmon acclimation facility in Washington State. In addition, he directed and managed unexploded ordnance cleanup work on Vieques Island, Puerto Rico on behalf of the US Navy.
